Description

When school feels like a daily crisis—tears over tests, homework that takes hours, meetings that go nowhere—most advice focuses only on fixing the reading or spelling problem. This workshop takes a different approach. You’ll learn how to troubleshoot the most common school challenges by understanding the trade-offs of a dyslexic mind and using practical, strengths-based strategies and communication tools.

In two focused sessions, you’ll cover:

Decoding the crisis — how to stay calm and clear-headed, what the diagnosis actually means, and the first steps that protect both your child and your relationship with school

Hidden failures, impossible expectations, tests, and assignments — why bright kids can look like they’re not trying, how knowledge and output get confused, and what to do about timed tests, long worksheets, and mismatched grading

This is educational guidance only. It is not medical, clinical, or legal advice.
