Course FAQS

If you are a teacher who just requires clock hours, then courses directly through the Dyslexic Advantage site are available for $350.

After you purchase the course, you should be able to log into the course portal and start the course under MY COURSE PROFILE.
Modules should be completed in order, beginning with Module 1. The modules consist of a video lesson and assignments such as a quiz and discussion questions. You may retake the quizzes as many times as necessary to receive a passing grade of 80% or higher.

If you would like to take courses for Graduate Student Credit, then enroll through Seattle Pacific University HERE. The Dyslexia for Teachers course is EDCT 5776. It is the SAME course as the one at Dyslexic Advantage, but because it provides graduate student credits and is hosted at the university, its cost is $400. After successfully completing the course, you will also have to request a formal transcript through the university for $10 if you need it for your credentialling.

We have heard from students enrolling at SPU that there may be a slight delay in activating their profiles. Seattle Pacific University will give you an SPU education address and you will need to log into their Canvas to take the course there.
