Congratulations to Space Pioneer and Dyslexic Advantage Board member Dr. David McComas on his being named yesterday Vice President to the prestigious Princeton Plasma Physics laboratory. He will also be a Professor of Astrophysics at Princeton University.
Dave has had a remarkable journey from being dubbed “slow” as a 4th grader who had struggled to read, to a pioneer who led the IBEX (interstellar boundary explorer) NASA mission that led to major discoveries involving the solar wind and edge of our solar system. In his circuitous educational path, David also ran a successful jewelry business in junior high and got a PhD from MIT (longer video HERE).
Way to go Dave!
