Yesterday, the CA Assembly Education Committee passed AB-1369 with a unanimous 7-0 vote!

This bill would provide more information to teachers and school administrators statewide to aid in the early identification of dyslexia. Studies have shown that the earlier dyslexia is recognized in a student, the easier it is to provide the interviention and assistance they need to succeed.

The bill has now moved on to the Assembly Appropriations Committee. To track this bill, click here:
