I recently had a fascinating chat with author of Becoming Leonardo, Mike Lankford. Lankford, who may also have the ‘advantage’ himself, became interested in the back story of Leonardo Da Vinci, a man who at one time was so backward he couldn’t properly learn Latin or Greek or hope to gain a conventional apprentice, but communicated predominantly through drawings.

Da Vinci was, in fact, a very late bloomer who would later be known as one of the greatest thinkers and artists of all time.

Mike himself is a great storyteller, and his passion for studying Leonardo really came through.
