The heart of our mission here at Dyslexic Advantage is to answer this question for all children and adults and so bring more of the incredible talent and innovative thinking of this community to the world.
Dyslexic Advantage: Who We Are
Dyslexic Advantage was founded in 2012 by Drs. Brock and Fernette Eide. The Eides had authored the book The Dyslexic Advantage, but the movement and community was born in response to an insistent 8 year old boy told us that he wanted to know more what he could ‘do’ because of his dyslexia, not more of what he couldn’t.
Dyslexic Advantage is a 501(c)3 charitable organization. Donations are tax-deductible as fully allowed by law.
Dyslexic Advantage has members throughout the United States, Canada, South America, Europe, Asia, Australia, and Africa. In the United States, we are the largest online network for dyslexic individuals, parents, teachers, and other professionals, and our mission is to foster positive identity, community, and strength for every dyslexic child and adults.
